In the framework of the New Hungary Development Plan, the implementation of the priority project „Non-stop Land Office Data Service via Client's Gate” – codename TakarNet24, EKOP 1.1.3 – has started. The expected result is that the citizens, the wide public can have access to land office data 0-24 hours on the Internet, through the Central Governmental Portal, entering the Client's Gate. The project kick-off conference took place on 5 March 2009 in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with more than hundred participants. Ferenc Sirman, State Secretary of the Ministry and dr. Ákos Bálint, Head of Department of the National Development Agency opened the event.

REVOLUTIONARY TAKARNET
The electronic land office proceedings can imply changes similar to the political transformation – stated Ferenc Sirman in his opening address. He stressed that in the first stage of the long term development concept called Digital Land Office, the non-stop accessibility of land office data through Internet will be realized with an investment of about two billion HUF financed by the EU and Hungary, not later than September 2010. TakarNet24 belongs to the priority projects of the Electronic Administration Operative Programme.
